About Eoin O Connor
Eoin O Connor is one of Ireland's leading contemporary artists. His early years were spent in Architecture, however the urge to paint took over and he has been painting for over twenty years. Eoin owns two galleries in Ireland. Among his many achievements are being commissioned to paint a portrait of Daniel Day Lewis for the European premiere of the multi Oscar winning movie Lincoln. To Celebrate the Global brand Converses 125th birthday Eoin was commissioned to design of sneakers in his own unique style. Eoin Has exhibited in the UK, Germany and the USA. Eoin's eclectic style and striking use of colour makes his work instantly recognizable. While his command over scale and perspective is rooted in his architectural training, his passion remains firmly grounded in creating strikingly vibrant paintings which echo his unique view the simple things in life. Eoin's vividly contrasting palette and striking compositions provide an instantly recognizable style. His unique use of high-quality paints on thick canvas results in creating a multi-dimensional perspective for the viewer; heightened through techniques such as impasto and a nuanced understanding of his subject matter. Eoin launched this amazing Cafe Collection in early August 2019 in association with Tipperary Crystal.
